In a public record item from the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Department that ran in the May 21 edition, the time of an accident involving Sarah Sides, 16, on May 9, was reported incorrectly. The accident occurred at about noon.

2:54 a.m. — At the intersection of Fourth Street and N Street, Nora T. Fuentes, 17, of Gering, and Mark A. Guerrero, 22, of Gering, were involved in an accident. Fuentes’ vehicle sustained $2,000 in damages. Guerrero’s vehicle sustained $1,500 in damages.

May 19

In the 300 block of L Street, Larry L. Bragg, 50, of Gering, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and criminal mischief.

May 20

In the 1700 block of Sixth Street, Michael A. Graves, 20, of Gering, was arrested on charges of false reporting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Myriah Fiegen, 16, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant – order of detention.

May 22

Rick Picket, 53, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence.

In the 2000 block of 12th Street, Alejandro R. Guano, 19, of Gering, was cited on a charge of disturbing the peace.

1 p.m. — At the intersection of Tenth Street and M Street, Kim M. Brenizer, 36, of Scottsbluff, and Chantice Blanco, 16, of Gering, were involved in an accident. Both vehicles sustained $1,000 in damages.

9:40 p.m. — On Five Road near Country Club Road, William S. Bibb, 40, of Gering, struck a dog. Bibb’s vehicle sustained $3,000 in damages.

May 23

In the 1700 block of Seventh Street, Michael E. Meloney, 30, of Gering, was cited on charges of trespassing and disturbing the peace.

May 24

On Five Rocks Road, Gregario Chavez, 39, of Gering, was cited on a charge of driving under suspension.

Joshua Burns, 23, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 25

Kaitlin Bair, 15, of Gering, and Hayley Charles, 15, of Mitchell, were cited on charges of minor in possession, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

12:55 p.m. — At the intersection of Fifth Street and N Street, Sherri Ensrud, 42, of Gering, and Danny R. Smith, 56, of Arvada, Colo., were involved in an accident. Ensrud’s vehicle sustained $5,000 in damages. Smith’s vehicle sustained $4,500 in damages.

May 26

In the 2500 block of Seventh Street, Janet McNeal, 50, of Gering, was cited on charges of no operator’s license, no valid registration and no proof of insurance.

In the 300 block of Tenth Street, Amanda Mata, 17, of Scottsbluff, was cited on charges of provisional operator’s permit violation and traffic signal violation.

7 a.m. — On County Road G, eight miles south of Minatare, Jamie Scott, 31, of Minatare, was involved in an accident. Scott’s vehicle sustained $2,500 in damages.

Casey Sinner, 23, was arrested on charges of willful reckless driving, no valid registration, traffic signal violation and seat belt violation.

May 21

Joshua Brown, 18, was cited on a charge of careless driving.

May 22

Justin Guerra was cited on a charge of driving under suspension.

Kenneth Lievense was cited on charges of speeding and failure to yield the right of way.

May 23

An unidentified male was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension. Further information was not made available in the report for media and the public.

Christopher Jones was arrested on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

8:25 a.m. — At the intersection of Sugar Factory Road and East 42nd Street, Jacqueline E. Lashley, 77, of Mitchell, and Joseph R. Smith, 17, of Scottsbluff, were involved in an accident. Lashley’s vehicle sustained $8,500 in damages. Smith’s vehicle sustained $2,500 in damages and a trailer he was pulling sustained $1,000 in damages. A stop sign sustained $150 in damages. Lashley was cited on charges of stop sign violation and failure to yield the right of way. Smith was cited on charges of seat belt and child restraint violations.

May 25

5 a.m. — On County Road F near County Road 9, three miles south of Morrill, Corey S. Rising, 39, of Torrington, struck a deer. Rising’s vehicle sustained $5,000 in damages.

5:30 a.m. — On Cook Oil Road, Shane Weitzel, 23, of Mitchell, was involved in an accident and struck a power pole. Weitzel’s vehicle sustained $4,000 in damages. Damage to the power pole was estimated at $1,500 in damages.

Two people were cited on charges of third-degree assault.

A charge of possession of a controlled substance, a Class IV felony, against Rose Gamboa, aliases Rosemary Lara-Gamboa and Rosa Lara Gamboa, 29, was bound over to Scotts Bluff County District Court.

Ryan K. Marco, 27, of Omaha, was fined $144 for providing a false logbook.

A charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Class IV felony, against Alicia B. Butler, 21, of Mitchell, was bound over to Scotts Bluff County District Court.

A charge of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, a Class II felony, against Richard Liljegren, 25, of Scottsbluff, was bound over to Scotts Bluff County District Court.

May 8

Victoria M. Stromski, 20, of Torrington, was fined $119 on a charge of no operator’s license.

A charge of driving under suspension against Michael C. Hoehn, 35, of Gering, was dismissed after his license was reinstated.

Moses M. Garcia, 50, of Scottsbluff, was fined $144 on a charge of driving under suspension.

Omar Campos, 29, of Scottsbluff, was fined $244 on a charge of disturbing the peace.

Noel Sanchez-Vargas, 24, was fined $119 on a charge of no operator’s license.

May 11

Quentin Duyck, 44, of Scottsbluff, was fined $146 on a charge of driving under suspension.

A charge of third-degree domestic assault against Larry J. Lujan, 42, of Gering, was dismissed.

Joshua D. Lucangioli, 36, of Scottsbluff, was fined $255.28, plus $750 in restitution, on a charge of theft by deception.

Charges of burglary, a Class III felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class IV felony, against Danny Lautenschlager, 57, of Gering, were bound over to Scotts Bluff County District Court.

Tonia Mendoza, 35, of Scottsbluff, was fined $294 on a charge of larceny.

Fernando Jimenez, 40, of Gering, was fined $144 on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Christopher M. Garcia, 23, of Gering, was sentenced to 30 days jail and fined $346.16, plus restitution, on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

Marco Hernandez, 19, of Scottsbluff, was sentenced to ten days jail and fined $44 on a charge of minor in possession.

A charge of issuing an insufficient funds check, a Class IV felony, Josh Lucangioli, 27, of Scottsbluff, was dismissed.

May 12

Anthony Campbell, 44, was sentenced to 90 days jail and fined $44 on a charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance.

Keisha Malleck, alias Keisha Kohl, 23, of Scottsbluff, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $112.68 on charges of two counts of theft by shoplifting.

Prosecutors declined to prosecute Fabian J. Garcia, of Terrytown, on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief.

Charges of forgery and aiding and abetting forgery, both Class IV felonies, against Cody A. White, 21, of Minatare, were bound over to Scotts Bluff County District Court.

Jose Camargo, 55, of Scottsbluff, was fined $144 on a charge of open container.

Artie William Lowery, 19, of Gering, was sentenced to 15 days jail and fined $180.82 on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Samuel E. Wheeler, 26, of Bayard, was fined $463.64 on charges of speeding and driving under suspension.

Victor Rubio, 19, of Miami Fla., was fined $244 on charges of third-degree mutual assault and obstructing a police officer.

Dajadela Hartsuicker, alias Dajadela Thorpe, 19, of Scottsbluff, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $44 on a charge of theft by taking.

Sean Seamus Ennis, 20, of Scottsbluff, was fined $344 on a charge of possession of marijuana.

May 20

Robert D. Williams, Jr., 21, of Mitchell, was fined $369.98 on a charge of possession of marijuana.

A charge of second-degree trespassing against Robert D. Williams Jr., 21, of Mitchell, were dismissed.
