Boy Scouts to celebrate 40th annual canoe derby
A patch will be awarded to the Boy Scouts, Webelos and Cub Scouts who attend the Ed Dulaney Canoe Derby on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The derby is celebrating its 40th anniversary and coordinators are making special plans to honor event founder Ed Dulaney and some of the people who have supported the derby since the beginning.

BRIDGEPORT — A western Nebraska event will celebrate its 40th anniversary this weekend.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Boy Scouts, Webelos and Cub Scouts will grab their oars and hit the water for the annual Ed Dulaney Canoe Derby at the Bridgeport State Recreation Area.
