Group brainstorms ways to attract visitors to area
Airport officials, tourism executives and promoters met at Western Nebraska Regional Airport Thursday to discuss ways of increasing boardings at the facility and ways to attract more visitors to the region. One idea was to offer special-priced packages that could be offered for outdoor excursions.

Western Nebraska is ready for an influx of visitors, and that in turn brings tourism dollars.
“The land is just waiting for us to do something with it,” said Rawnda Pierce, director for Twin Cities Development.
