“What did I do?” is a common question asked by those who are being stalked. They wonder if they said or did something to give the other person the perception that it’s okay to follow them everywhere, call them on the phone multiple times per day or send unsolicited and unwanted letters and emails.
It is important to remember that whatever is happening, it is not your fault. Stalking affects an estimated 6.6 million women and men each year, according to the National Center for Victims of Crime.
