A Scottsbluff man charged with robbery acted belligerent during his court appearance and jail officials had to mute an audio feed.

Michael Scott, 43, of Scottsbluff, has been charged with robbery, a Class II felony, and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a Class III felony. He also faces a charge of theft of deception, a Class III felony, in a second case filed Monday.
