Teen accused of helping plan fatal jail attack

A 16-year-old boy charged as an accessory in the attack of a corrections officer allegedly helped plan the fatal attack.

On Wednsday, Scotts Bluff County Attorney Doug Warner charged Guy Eagle Elk, of Lisco, with aiding and abetting Dylan Cardeilhac. Cardeilhac has been charged with first-degree murder and first -degree assault in a Feb. 14 attack on Amanda Baker, causing the 24-year-old woman’s death. Eagle Elk faces a charge of aiding and abetting first-degree assault, a Class II felony.
