LINCOLN (AP) — A California woman is suing to try to force Nebraska officials to return more than $1 million in cash seized in a traffic stop that she says was her life savings, but that the Nebraska State Patrol says is drug money.

A bench trial in Tasha Mishra’s lawsuit is set to begin Monday, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
