The Alliance volleyball team improved its record to 10-9 on the season after dropping the first two sets and rallying back to edge Gering 3-2 (21-25, 19-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-9) on Tuesday night at Gering High School.
“The first two sets were disappointing. It was really just a cluster -- it was a mess,” First year Alliance coach Hope Gillespie said. “We were mixing up our lineup the whole game, so it was confusing but the girls pulled out of it and finally got their momentum and went with it. So I’m so glad they changed what was happening.”
