Education RECRUITING COORDINATOR University of Nebraska NE COLLEGE OF TECHNICAL AGRICULTURE Curtis, NE The primary responsibility of this position is to increase enrollment at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) by using recruiting strategies to enroll domestic, international, and dual-credit students. This position will work with the Associate Dean to successfully devise and implement the strategic enrollment plan for the college. The incumbent in this position will report directly to the Associate Dean and will work with faculty, staff, and students to meet the goals set in the strategic enrollment plan. This position works closely with campus student services staff, including registration/ records, financial aid, and admissions. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide guidance, communication, promotional information, consultation, and assistance to schools/ colleges, organizations, agencies, and communities involved in the education and recruitment of potential students. The Recruiting Coordinator will supervise recruiting staff and manage the recruiting budget. This position will enhance NCTA's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments, and providing leadership for methods of enhancing institutional effectiveness. This position will maximize recruiting strategies, including high school visits, business networking, special events to recruit students, social media, and other methods to increase enrollment of domestic, international, and dual-credit students. Minimum required qualifications include Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in recruiting, agriculture, public relations, student services, sales, marketing, or related field. Experience must demonstrate ability to project organization's image in a professional, articulate manner; well-developed writing skills; and excellent strategic planning, data analysis, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with social media and PC- based word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software. Small to large group presentation skills. Experience must demonstrate ability to work in diverse teams and follow through on multiple tasks at one time.
