SCOTTSBLUFF - On Saturday, July 20, St. Francis Episcopal Church of Scottsbluff will welcome people of faith from all denominations to join guest presenter Brother James Dowd for a prayer workshop held from 2-4 p.m. in the St. Francis parish hall. Brother Dowd is a Benedictine monk in the Episcopal tradition who lives and works out of the Nebraska Diocese. An excellent speaker and workshop leader, St. Francis invites all to participate in this opportunity to learn and practice new prayer skills.

Brother Dowd’s visit is part of a residency in the Panhandle from July 20-July 28, during which he will also visit Episcopal parishes in Harrisburg, Mitchell, Hyannis, Alliance, Holly, and Chadron.
