Norman Lee Townley, 91, formerly of Gering, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2019, at Juniper Village, Louisville, Colorado.

Born December, 11, 1927, at Longmont, Colorado, to Robert and Anna (Cluphf) Tonley. He was a Korean War veteran and participated in the Inchon Landing.

He was married to Virginia Bellelo. They had two children, Virginia Ann Townley and Norman Lee Townley Jr. The family lived in Ogallala, where he worked at Good-All Electric. In 1965, they moved to Gering and he worked for Midwec Corp. He lived in Gering for 50 years.

He loved to fish and play golf.

He is survived by daughter, Virginia Ann Townley, and son Norman Lee Townley Jr. (Mary; grandchildren Elizabeth (Jay) Moore and Laura (Jason) Reiter, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Townley; his parents Robert and Anna; his brothers R. John, Rodney and David.

Family graveside services will be at the Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado.
