The Hemingford Community Foundation was excited to receive $500 from the Alliance Fraternal Order of Eagles to support mats and mirrors to complement the recent equipment expansion at The Body Shop. This brings the total amount to nearly $42,000 the Foundation has received since beginning to seek funding for Hemingford-specific community betterment projects this past year.

Foundation board members, along with Hemingford Eagles members, Les Schaper (formerly of Hemingford, now resides in Alliance) and Wayne Knote stopped in for the monthly Foundation meeting for a quick picture before taking a tour of The Body Shop.

The Hemingford Community Foundation has been established to serve the residents of Hemingford and the surrounding area by identifying and supporting the people, organizations, and projects that make Hemingford a great place to live, learn, work, and play. The Foundation is an affiliate fund of the Oregon Trail Community Foundation.
