The Hemingford Bobcat Cross Country Team is wondering if  people of the town would be willing to lend them their dogs so they can take them on a practice fun run on Friday, Sept. 27 @ 2:30 p.m.

Memories of the Heart Hog Hustle 5K to be held
Memories of the heart -hog hustle 5K will be held Saturday, Sept. 28th in Downtown Alliance. Registration is at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Entry fees: Pre-registration-$20 Day of race-$25.
Free shirts given to all pre-registrants. Registration forms are available at Dave’s Pharmacy at either location.

Hemingford Library Fall Hours
Starting in September, the library is introducing new hours. Mon - closed
Tues - 12 - 6 pm
Weds - 12 - 6 pm 
Thurs - 9 - 12 noon
Fri - 12 - 5 pm
Sat - 9 - 12 noon
Another new addition in September is Story Time for young children. Story Time will be held the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 1 pm and last 30 to 45 minutes. Story times for September will be on the 6th and 20th. The librarians are excited to start up story time for our children.
Box Butte General resuming OB services
Box Butte General Hospital is excited to announce Obstetric care/labor and delivery services will resume October 1. Greater Nebraska Medical & Surgical Services and Alliance Family Medicine are happy to welcome new and transferring OB patients of all stages at that time. Preparations are underway to provide the greatest patient care possible. Call the clinic at 308-762-7244 to schedule an appointment in advance. Please call 911 or go to the emergency room if complications arise.
