SCOTTSBLUFF — The Star-Herald wants to let their readers know about a move to allow our team members and carriers to enjoy the Fourth of July holiday.

Effective with the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, readers will not receive a printed edition that day. The Star-Herald will produce an e-edition specific to that day.  The e-edition is the electronic version of that day’s news, sports and advertisements from area businesses.

This decision allows the Star-Herald to give a majority of its team members and your carriers the day off to enjoy time with family and friends.

If you are a subscriber and have not signed up already for digital access to get a e-edition of the Star-Herald as part of your subscription, call 308-632-9010 and we will get you set up today so you can read the Star-Herald online this Fourth of July holiday.

“We appreciate your continued support as we reshape the future of community journalism in Scottsbluff, western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming,” Star-Herald publisher Rich Macke said. “Thank you and have a safe holiday weekend.”

We're always interested in hearing about news in our community. Let us know what's going on!
