12:58 a.m. — In the 4000 block of Avenue B, Scottsbluff Police took a report of a protection order violation.

5:05 a.m. — In the 2100 block of Char Avenue, Scottsbluff Police investigated a report of theft.

5:56 a.m. — Scottsbluff Police investigated a domestic assault report in the 00 block of Woodley Drive. Rita Morales, 31, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault after a male was found to have minor injuries.

9:30 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an unresponsive male in traffic at Ninth Avenue and South Beltline Highway. Wayne L. Sides, 55, was cited on a charge of driving under suspension.

11:16 a.m. — Police investigated a report of child abuse.

6:32 p.m. — Police investigated a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of West 20th Street and Avenue F. Julian Corona, 18, was cited on a charge of following too closely.

May 7

In the 00 block of Woodley Park Road, police investigated a report of a bench being stolen. Others in the neighborhood reported similar items being stolen.

11:33 a.m. — In the 00 block of South Beltline Highway, police investigated a report of a fraud. An investigation was ongoing as of the date of the report.

11:37 a.m. — In the 1500 block of East 18th Street, police investigated a report of forgery.

12:12 p.m. — In the 300 block of East 27th Street, police investigated an accident in the parking lot. A 15-year-old student was cited on a charge of no operator’s license.

In the 00 block of East 23rd Street, police investigated a report of a theft of a cell phone. A 14-year-old student was cited on a charge of theft.

May 2

5:30 p.m. — At a residence on County Road 19, police investigated a report of an aggravated assault. Conard McNut was arrested on charges of strangulation and third-degree assault. An 18-year-old male was treated at Regional West Medical Center for injuries.

May 3

9:19 p.m. — Deputies responded to a party with minors in possession of alcohol on County Road 19. One juvenile was cited on a charge of minor in possession. Deputies investigated and the minor was determined to be the only minor drinking at the party.

10:40 p.m. — Near the intersection of County Road 12 and County Road J in Mitchell, deputies investigated a report of minors drinking at a large party. Upon officer arrival, multiple minors attempted to flee the residence in vehicles. Deputies made contact with some of the drivers and occupants and citations were issued to minors at the residence and in the vehicles.

6:52 p.m. — Police responded to a large fight and disturbance at Center Park in Lyman. Four juvenile boys were cited on charges of third-degree assault.

May 4

8:12 p.m. — On Highland Road, deputies cited Derek Henkel on a violation of open burning.

May 3

Amanda Bosn, 35, was fined $449 on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shane L. Groskopf, 29, was fined $100 on a charge of no proof of insurance.

Crystal Plasencio, 27, was fined $150 on a charge of driving under suspension.

Tristan Garcia, 15, was fined $149 on a charge of negligent driving.

Kolby J. Church, 21, was fined $350 on charges of speeding and no proof of insurance.
