Huskers land commitment from Florida defensive back Ronald Delancy

Ronald Delancy, a three-star defensive back from Miami, announced his commitment to Nebraska on Tuesday.

Delancy took an official visit to Nebraska for the Ohio State game on Sept. 28. He was committed to Louisville at the time but dropped that pledge a few days later, and has now chosen the Huskers.

Delancy measures 6-foot, 160 pounds, according to his Hudl page. He's a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite, ranked as the No. 147 cornerback in the country.

Delancy is the 13th member of the Huskers' 2020 recruiting class and the third defensive back, joining Henry Gray and Tamon Lynum. All three of those DB commits are from Florida.

Delancy is the second recruit to commit to Nebraska in less than a week. The last to do so was Alabama linebacker Rodney Groce, who committed last Friday and also visited for the Ohio State game.
